Miami SkylinesMiami's skyline includes a brilliantly lit building formerly called the Centrust Tower,
International Place, and now owned by Bank of America. It's colors are different for each
holiday (blue with white stars for Christmas, red, white and blue for the 4th of July, red
for Valentines day, etc.) Another feature of Miami's skyline is a line of neon lights that
follows the train tracks of Miami's Metrorail as it crosses the Miami River.
It is 1540 feet long. Miami's bridges are also lighted.
The Port of Miami Bridge is blue and the McArthur Causeway (I-395) is purple.
The Miami
skyline is one of the most dramatic in the country. Eclipsed Moons Over Miami This shot is 6 multiple exposures on the
same piece of film. Five exposures of the moon at different stages of
the Lunar Eclipse using a 420mm lens, and one of Miami's Bayside skyline at 35-70mm. The
full moon on the left is at 9PM before the eclipse started. The half eclipsed moon is at
about 10PM. The fully eclipsed moon that appears orange is at about 11PM. The half
eclipsed moon as it was ending was at about 12MN. The last full moon when the eclipse was
finished was at about 1AM. The shot of Bayside Skyline was done between 11P and
12MN. The moons were taken outside my front door in Miramar. The exposure for the eclipse
was 1800 times longer than the exposure for the full moon. Reflections of Miami Christmas in Miami with Neon Boat Miami's Birthday Bayside Marketplace Everglades Sunset
